There are three people in the Dursley family; Mr. Dursley, Mrs. Dursley, and their son Dudley. They live at number 4 Privet Drive. They think of themselves as a perfectly normal family and not the type of people likely to be involved in anything strange or mysterious. Mr. Dursley is a large, thick man, while Mrs. Dursley is thin and has a very long neck. In their opinion, there is no better boy anywhere than Dudley.

What drove the thoughts of drills out of Mr. Dursley’s mind?

What did Mr. Dursley do at lunchtime?
At lunchtime, Mr. Dursley walked across the road the the baker’s to buy a bun. On his way back, clutching a large donut in a bag, he heard a group of people in cloaks speaking about the Potters.
